Retreats are held in California's Eastern Sierra, primarily in and around Inyo National Forest and nearby public lands. We operate at designated campsites and wilderness areas under the appropriate permits, and we follow Leave No Trace principles to protect the land we use.

What happens on a retreat

A Wild Breath retreat runs about 3.5 days. Activities include group hikes, facilitated conversations, wilderness skills, shared meals, and reflection and mindfulness practices. That is the full scope — no other activities are offered.

Wild Breath retreats are for adult men from all backgrounds who want to grow in leadership, resilience, brotherhood, and connection. We welcome participants regardless of race, color, national origin, religion, disability, or age. Wild Breath is non-political.

Cost & scholarships

100% of participants receive scholarships, awarded on a sliding-scale basis. No one is turned away for inability to pay. Programs are funded entirely by donations and grants.
