Activities
Each retreat element advances our charitable and educational mission through skill-building, community connection, and personal growth in wilderness settings.
Core Retreat Activities
Group Hikes
Explore Eastern Sierra trails together, building physical stamina and appreciation for wilderness. Hikes are paced for accessibility and include time for observation and reflection.
Facilitated Conversations
Structured dialogue sessions create space for participants to share experiences, explore personal themes, and practice authentic communication in a supportive group setting.
Wilderness Skills
Learn practical outdoor skills including navigation, Leave No Trace principles, weather awareness, and campsite selection. Hands-on instruction builds confidence and competence.
Environmental Stewardship
All activities follow Leave No Trace principles and local regulations. We use designated campsites and wilderness areas with appropriate permits, minimizing our impact while maximizing our appreciation for these precious wild places. Participants learn responsible recreation practices that protect ecosystems and respect wildlife, carrying these principles beyond the retreat.
