Eastern Sierra men's retreat
Every man attends free. Wild Breath is funded entirely by donations. Learn more or give.
The Wild Breath retreat is held in California's Eastern Sierra / Inyo National Forest area. Men camp outdoors with the group for about 3.5 days. This is not a hotel or lodge stay.
Wild Breath is a California 501(c)(3) public charity (EIN 39-3973429), headquartered in Sacramento at 2108 N ST, STE N, Sacramento, CA 95816. Founder and CEO: Jeremiah Owen. The Sierra is the retreat destination. It is not headquarters, and it is not the Southern California meetup.
Camping on public land
Retreats take place in designated campsites and wilderness areas within the Eastern Sierra, including Inyo National Forest and nearby public lands. The group secures the permits those places require and follows local regulations, including fire restrictions, camping quotas, and wilderness area rules.
This page does not publish permit numbers or a campsite street address. Logistics go to accepted participants before each trip.
Leave No Trace
Participants learn and practice the seven Leave No Trace principles. Published practice includes proper food storage, distance from wildlife, staying on designated paths, and keeping impact low. Safety also notes Eastern Sierra elevations from 4,000 to 10,000+ feet, with time allowed for acclimatization. Read that page for the published safety framing. Permit numbers are not published here.

How Southern California men get there
Many men stage in the Acton and Santa Clarita corridor, connect, organize carpools, and then travel to the Eastern Sierra. That meetup is not legal headquarters. Headquarters stay in Sacramento.
